‘In the United the situation is different, it is very difficult to do something with the team that Ten Hag has at the moment.’

Meanwhile, French journalist Julien Laurens recently gave two reasons as to why he thinks that the former Madrid boss would never opt for a move to England.

Laurens told RMC Sport: ‘I’ve always been told that the language barrier in terms of his English, which he doesn’t speak and doesn’t necessarily want to learn, has always been an obstacle to him arriving in the Premier League,’

‘I don’t think he likes life in England either. He didn’t want to come as a player and nor does he want to come as a manager.’
