Rasmus Hojlund left baffled over what £50m Man Utd teammate did in the 55th minute vs Burnley - timelineoffuture

Manchester United drew 1-1 with Burnley on Saturday afternoon, but there was one moment which left Rasmus Hojlund baffled.

For Erik ten Hag, things are feeling bleak as we fast approach the end of this season, which could see him replaced as Manchester United boss.

The goal for United came through a very unexpected source, with Antony grabbing his first Premier League goal in over a year.

Antony himself was enthralled by scoring as he did a handful of different celebrations in the aftermath, one bizarrely involving a Sonic the Hedgehog toy.

But before the deadlock was broken in the 1-1 draw, there was a moment which left Rasmus Hojlund annoyed and it actually perfectly sums up the story of United right now.

Rasmus Hojlund wasn’t impressed by Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the 55th minute

Hojlᴜnd dіdn’t һаʋe а greаt gамe һімѕelf, аltһoᴜgһ һe once мore fell ʋіctім to а lаck of ѕerʋіce, wіtһ һіѕ wіngerѕ endіng ᴜр gettіng аll tһe cһаnceѕ.

Bᴜt аt one ѕtаge іn tһe 55tһ міnᴜte, һojlᴜnd dіd well to control tһe Ьаll Ьefore һe lаіd іt off to һіѕ £50м teаммаte ааron Wаn-Ьіѕѕаkа іn а рroміѕіng рoѕіtіon.

The right-back then weirdly allowed the ball to roll past him, as though he’d frozen and decided against touching the ball at all.

This allowed the Clarets to regain possession, killing the move dead.

To this, Hojlund responded by waving his arms up into the air and into a position which looked like he was thinking ‘How’. Done in a baffled manner, clearly, he could not believe how Wan-Bissaka ended up doing that.

This infuriating moment was the most prominent in a long line of moments where Wan-Bissaka’s lack of technical footballing ability has cost us.

This leaves one potential summer arrival looking more exciting that he should.

Wan-Bissaka’s struggles make Jeremie Frimpong an exciting target

Over the past few weeks, Bayer Leverkusen’s Jeremie Frimpong has been once again the subject of heavy links to United.

But it isn’t a move which really makes sense considering what United need this summer.

Didn’t make sense that is, until we’ve seen Wan-Bissaka getting into these positions around the box where he’s ultimately out of his depth.

This makes the move for Frimpong look far more likely than previously because if United are to insist on having the full-backs that advanced, it cannot be Wan-Bissaka.
