There is clearly much more to come from Hojlund, who showed enough promise last season to justify Ten Hag’s continued faith in his ability to become a prolific goalscorer at the highest level.
But the time has come for Hojlund to step up and vindicate his manager’s belief in him and prove that faith is not misplaced.
