Manchester United-bound striker Rasmus Hojlund has revealed how to pronounce his name correctly.

Hojlund has been heavily linked with a move to United in recent weeks as Erik ten Hag continues his search for a new striker.

Ahead of the 23/24 season, there are many rumors that the 20-year-old will move to Old Trafford. Before the planned move, a video appeared in which Hojlund himself confirmed how to pronounce his name correctly. You can watch the footage below.

In the footage, Hojlund said: “My full name, I don’t think anyone here can pronounce my last name correctly. Anyone would like to try?”

The Danish international then went on to teach the crowd how to correctly say his name.

According to Sky Sports, Hojlund has completed his medical ahead of his move to Old Trafford which is reportedly going to cost £72 million.

Atalanta are set to receive an initial fee of £64 million plus £8 million in performance-related add-ons.

It is believed that the striker will sign a five-year deal with the club and could be unveiled during United’s friendly against French Ligue 1 side RC Lens on Saturday.

United midfielder and Hojlund’s international teammate, Christian Eriksen spoke about his imminent arrival after their friendly against Borussia Dortmund.

He said: “What’s he like? He’s a strong number nine.

“He’s developed a lot in the last year from when I first saw him with the national team [to] a year’s time, so, yeah, he’s a very good player.

“I suppose we don’t get enough media attention in Denmark that’s why, so people outside Denmark don’t know enough.”

Eriksen continued: “He’s a nice guy, he’s a good player. Like I said, he’s developed, turning into just a nine, which he’s played for the national team.

“I have to be honest I haven’t seen that many games for Atalanta, but I know how they play and he fitted in well there, so, yeah, he’s a good player.”
