Pep Guardiola is said to be eyeing a replacement for Kevin De Bruyne following recent links with the Saudi Pro League.

A lot of world-class players have moved to Saudi Arabia recently and there are reports that De Bruyne is high on the list of SPL leaders.

Journalist Rudy Galletti introduces De Bruyne as a top target along with Mo Salah for the Public Investment Fund.

And earlier this week, he claimed Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr had contacted De Bruyne’s representatives ahead of a proposed transfer.

The Belgian international is currently recovering from hamstring surgery and was in Abu Dhabi for UFC 294 this weekend.

Al Nassr hopes to arrange a meeting and convince him to work with players like Ronaldo and Sadio Mane.

De Bruyne joined Man City in 2015 and would go on to become one of the club’s all-time greats.

He will need to be replaced but according to Football Insider’s Pete O’Rourke, City are keeping an eye on Bayern Munich and German star Jamal Musiala.

The European champions are interested in the 20-year-old and his contract situation at Bayern.

Muisala, who played in the youth teams at Southampton and Chelsea and played for England at youth level, is under contract until June 2026.

He is said to earn around £83,000 a week but is struggling not to be a regular starter for the Bundesliga champions.

Muisala scored 16 goals and 16 assists in 47 matches last season, even scoring the goal that gave him another title on the final match day.

He scored in the 3-1 Champions League win over Galatasaray on Tuesday night, then he also scored against Copenhagen.

However, he only started 3 matches due to injury and the appointment of Thomas Muller.

Liverpool are also heavily linked with the attacking midfielder, one of world football’s most promising prospects.
