Mikel Arteta admits that he does want to return to manage in Spain in the future as Arsenal boss says his homeland ‘draws him a lot’

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has admitted that he does see himself returning to manage in Spain at some point in his career.

Arteta has transformed the Gunners in his first managerial role since hanging up his boots, making the club serious contenders once again.

The north London outfit have improved each year since he took charge in 2019 and find themselves in the title race on the final day of the season this Sunday.

Arteta’s current deal with Arsenal expires at the end of next season and there is no doubt that the club will be looking to extend it in the near future.

The Spaniard was linked with the Barcelona job earlier this season and admits he would want work in his homeland one day.
