The 2023/24 season of the Premier League is already making headlines, even though the previous season has just ended. Manchester United will be optimistic about what they can achieve after a promising first season under Eric ten Haag.
Securing Champions League football was the declared goal of the Red Devils. Therefore, third place, winning the Carabao Cup and reaching the FA Cup final must be seen as a positive campaign. However,
Old Trafford depends on ownership. The club has yet to be sold and the story seems to be lingering.
fans may be pleased to know that next season’s league fixtures have already been announced so they can focus on what happens on the field rather than Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s bids. not.
Here’s how United’s first six Premier League fixtures of the 2023/24 season compare to their direct rivals.
Man Utd’s first six fixtures
It’s not particularly scary, but Manchester United have had easier starts to seasons in the past. The two games against Tottenham and Arsenal in north London will certainly be the toughest.
Wolves have finished a very strong season under Julen Lopetegui and Nottingham Forest could be an even stronger side by August, while Brighton are likely to be under Roberto De Zerbi. would still be a very good team under Manager Vincent Compagny would also like a home result at Burnley.
If United can get through these games with six wins, they will need to get serious about the title. With less than 12 points to play, the fan base may initially fear that there has been no progress over the summer.

Man City’s first six fixtures
The story gods know what they’re doing in this first game. Burnley, led by Vincent Compagny, welcome recent treble winners Manchester City to Turf Moor in their opening game of the season. Given the way the season ended, it seems almost derelict to say a single game will be difficult for Man City.
There’s no reason to believe they won’t be as ruthless as the machines next season, and looking at this matchup list, they’re likely to take the lead after six games.
Pep Guardiola certainly has the most difficult game at home to Newcastle, but he has no fear of opponents at the moment. Man United may need to win all six of their opening games to have any chance of leveling with Man City.

Liverpool’s first six fixtures
There are two clearly standout games for Liverpool here that are to be feared and overall six not the easiest. An away game against Chelsea on the opening weekend is very difficult to predict. Mauricio Pochettino can work with a talented team all summer long, so we have to assume they will be better than last season.
A cheap home game against Bournemouth is followed by a tough away game against Newcastle. If Liverpool can’t get their form right away, they may need to catch up very early if a title or top four battle is at stake.
Aston Villa, Wolves and West Ham are all sides that Liverpool could win, but they could also pose a problem for the Reds next season if they continue to use the right players in the summer.

Arsenal’s first six fixtures
This is essentially Arsenal’s game plan for the second half. They’ve been given the first three games of the season, which would be ideal for building momentum before things get a little tougher.
Man United, the fourth team to face last season’s Premier League runners-up, could fall victim.
The game against Everton will be more difficult to judge as the Gunners have lost the same game in the last game, but if Arsenal can beat both Man United and Tottenham in their opening six games, they will be at least -4th. come out on top who would believe themselves to be on top against most of their opponents.

Newcastle’s first six fixtures
We could learn a huge amount about Newcastle’s ability to continue mixing it at the top of the table at the start of next season.
They have been handed a very tough run of games to get started. They need to take on both Man City and Liverpool, while matches against Aston Villa and Brighton could be really tough as well.
Man Utd will probably expect to be ahead of Newcastle by the end of the first six games and there will be concern if they are not, as it could come as a result of summer stagnation while others kick on.
