Man Utd agree £70m double deal

Man Utd have reportedly exchanged medical paperwork with West Ham as Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay transfers were agreed.

The two are said to be conducting medical research remotely in the United States following Erik ten Haag’s decision to sell them, according to the Express and journalist Alan Nixon.

United had previously rejected offers from West Ham for Maguire but are expected to agree a transfer fee of around £30m.

United were looking for £40m for McTominay. The Hammers have money in the bank after selling Declan Rice to Arsenal for over £100m.

Maguire was stripped of the captaincy at Old Trafford earlier this summer.

Liverpool get their man

Liverpool have agreed a five-year deal with young Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia, according to reports, after weeks pursuing his signature.

According to renowned journalist Sacha Tavolieri, terms have been agreed with the player and the deal with Southampton is now final.

Lavia is ready and awaiting the green light for medical testing at Anfield. Tavolieri said: “These will be crucial days for Romeo Lavia’s transfer to Liverpool.

Personally, there has been a consensus for some time. Lavia is awaiting the green light to undergo medical tests with the Reds.”Liverpool are set to make a third and final bid to sign Lavia from Southampton. “They want to seduce the Saints with €40m + bonus for a young Belgian.” Lavia has a five-year contract at Anfield.

€100m bid for Harry Kane

Bayern Munich have submitted a new offer of more than €100 million for Harry Kane – with bonus payments included.

Sky Germany are reporting that Bayern expect an answer in the next few hours, with a deal for the England skipper closer than ever.

Spurs have been reluctant to sell their leader but face losing him for free next summer when his contract runs out.

Pep confirms signing

Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Manchester City are on the brink of signing RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol in a €90million deal.

Speaking at a press conference this afternoon, the City boss joked: “Gvardiol, what a beautiful surname he has! He is doing a medical test.

“Everybody knows he is here. Hopefully, we can finish the deal in the next few hours or days.”
