Man City stars want to party on world’s most expensive yacht – it’s owned by Sheikh Mansour

Manchester City owner Sheikh Mansour owns the world’s most expensive superyacht – and Pep Guardiola’s treble-winners are desperate to party on it.

The yacht, which paid back £500million to the Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates in July, is a 525ft vessel that costs £500,000 to refuel.

She is the fourth largest yacht in the world with 40 cabins and cabins for 48 guests, a bathing platform, a nightclub and two helipads.

In addition, on board there is a sauna, gym, jacuzzi and services such as wifi and air conditioning, as well as an elevator to move between the different floors.

The mega-boat, which would barely fit inside Etihad Stadium, was nicknamed ‘Blue’ by Mansour in reference to the club he owns.

The-strong crew of 80 is expected to handle all operations of the yacht, which was more than double the original sum paid for the city’s purchase in 2008.

And City stars like Jack Grealish, Kevin de Bruyne and Erling Haaland are keen to experience the yacht, even if they may not be able to repeat their Triple Chance celebration.

That could happen later this year, however, as the Blues will be neighbors in Saudi Arabia at the Club World Cup.

City will represent Europe in their first tournament appearance after winning the Champions League by beating Inter Milan in the final in Istanbul.

“His boat is said to have been in the dressing room when he picked it up and they are hoping for an invitation when the team travels to Saudi Arabia for the Club World Cup in December,” a source told Reuters.

“Abu Dhabi is not far away and should be moored if the owner or his family is visiting.”Mansour has made just two appearances for City – the first in the 3-0 win over Liverpool at the Etihad in 2010 and the second in Istanbul when his side clinched the European title.
