Manchester City defender Kyle Walker is wanted by local club Sheffield United.

England right-back Walker, who is considering a future with the Premier League champions, has also attracted interest from Saudi Arabia.

Walker has one year left on his City contract and he has long expressed his desire to return to Bramall Lane, where he started his career.

The defender was signed by Tottenham in 2009 when the London club paid him and Kyle Norton £9 million.

Walker was on loan at Sheffield United for the 2009/10 season, but was recalled to Tottenham in February 2010.

He then went on loan to QPR and Aston Villa before establishing himself as a Spurs starter in the 2011/12 season.

Over the next six seasons, he played more than 200 games, three of which were in the top four.

City called up for 2017 and agreed a deal worth up to £50m for the star right-back.

Walker said he was 27 when he joined the Manchester club, and although he had no prestigious trophies, he quickly made up for lost time.

Since then he has won his 14 trophies including his 5 Premier League and Champions League.

He has made 254 appearances for City but may have played in his final game for the club.

The 33-year-old has a year left on his contract and his role in Pep Guardiola’s side has dwindled in the treble-winning season.
