Tom Canton – Football writer

Should you ever change a winning formula? Well, in football, yes – sometimes – but this is mainly down to injuries and fatigue or perhaps to give opportunities to other fringe players so they can be ready to come in at a later date.

However, with three games left and Arsenal in such good form, there is entirely no need to change the side which has won its last three fixtures including big wins over Chelsea and Tottenham. There is little question either regarding who would be considered over the eleven from the last two matches either.

Jurrien Timber is a temptation, but only to be a second-half cameo as he steps up his recovery. Kai Havertz and Leandro Trossard have made themselves near undroppable at this stage and Thomas Partey continues to show why the side have missed him over the course of the season.

Takehiro Tomiyasu will be important in stopping the Cherries’ quick wingers and offer more protection to the powerhouse of Dominik Solanke, who has been excellent this season. A must-win game but with no changes required.

Canton’s Arsenal XI vs Bournemouth: Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Tomiyasu; Partey, Rice, Odegaard; Saka, Havertz, Trossard.

Kaya Kaynak – Chief Arsenal correspondent

It may seem strange to say for a team who won such a crucial game, but I don’t actually think Arsenal played that well against Tottenham. Certainly nowhere near the levels that they reached against Chelsea just prior.

With that in mind, I’m mixing it up a bit against Bournemouth. Andoni Iraola’s side press quite high, so I think you can bring Alex Zinchenko back in to exploit that.

In midfield I think you don’t necessarily need two defensive presences. With that in mind I’m playing Declan Rice as a No.6 and bringing Emile Smith Rowe in to the No.8 for his ability to combine so well with his teammates.

On the left I’m also bringing in Gabriel Jesus over Leandro Trossard. Mikel Arteta has said he has no intention of selling the Brazilian this summer, so this could be the perfect chance to prove it.

Kaynak’s Arsenal XI vs Bournemouth: Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Rice, Odegaard, Smith Rowe; Saka, Havertz, Jesus.
