Former Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea is reportedly open to a move to a Serie A club.

De Gea has been without a club since his departure from United last summer.

The Spaniard was reportedly open to returning to United if Erik ten Hag and former football director John Murtough, who oversaw his departure, were no longer at the club.

United announced in April that Murtough was departing the club.

However, despite there having previously been much speculation over his future, ten Hag remains in place as manager after signing a one-year contract extension until 2026 following United’s FA Cup success.
