Egypt as of late uncovered the 2,500-year-old mummy of a tall cleric at an old cemetery in Cairo’s southern neighborhood.

Egyptologist Zahi Hawass, together with a group from Egypt, opened three sarcophagi that had been fixed amid the 26th Tradition.

One of the coffins held the well-preserved mummy of a capable cleric, which was brightened with a brilliant figure portraying Isis, an antiquated Egyptian goddess. The mummy was wrapped in cloth and brightened with the figure.

The group moreover opened two other sarcophagi, one containing a female mummy enhanced with blue globules and another with a father in a family tomb.

The finds were uncovered live on discuss on the Revelation Channel on Sunday.

“I never found within the late period anything like this,” Hawass said.
