Manchester City forward Jack Grealish has revealed exactly why he no longer uses social media platform Twitter, now known as X in the wider domain.

Grealish has endured a relatively challenging campaign off the back of the historic Treble-winning season alongside his Manchester City teammates in 2022/23, battling a mix of fitness and form problems.

Having overcome back-to-back groin problems sustained in action for Manchester City earlier this year, Jack Grealish is hoping to maintain a run of availability under Pep Guardiola, and contribute to a potential fourth successive Premier League title success.

He continued, “Even now I don’t have Twitter because you see so much stuff on there you don’t need to see written about yourself. When you see or hear a lot of it, it can start creeping into your mind.”

Jack Grealish and Manchester City have just three matches remaining in the Premier League this season, with back-to-back trips to London awaiting the club against Fulham and Tottenham in a matter of days.

The domestic season for Pep Guardiola and his players will come to a close at the end of May, with the FA Cup final against Manchester United coming on the weekend after the top-flight final day against West Ham.
