Compilation of Andre Onana’s mistakes goes viral as Man United transfer edges ever closer

Andre Onana’s record of mistakes went viral as the Inter Milan goalkeeper closed in on Manchester United.

United are on the hunt for a new goalkeeper after David de Gea confirmed his departure from Old Trafford earlier this month.

In recent weeks United have negotiated a deal with Inter for Onana. It has now been reported that a transfer fee of around £50m has been agreed between the two clubs.

Following this recent event, a video showing some of Onana’s mistakes has been circulating on social media. Highlights included suspicious touches, bad passes and questionable positioning.

Fans quickly responded to the video on social media.

While a fifth commented, “That’s why I never rated Onana. She can do better with her legs.”But like a stopwatch, it fights. The only reason he did relatively well in college was because the team was defensive.

However, some United fans were quick to defend Onana.

One wrote: “The haters have started already. My club is massive man.”

A second said: “There’s a 2hr De Gea fail comp on here please find shame.”

Another commented: “This page giving De Gea prop is how I know we signed the right guy.”

De Gea ended his 12-year stay at Old Trafford with an emotional statement earlier in the month.

He wrote: “It’s been an unforgettable and successful period since I came here. I didn’t think from leaving Madrid as a young boy we would achieve what we did together.

“Now, it’s the right time to undertake a new challenge, to push myself again in new surroundings. Manchester will always be in my heart, Manchester has shaped me and will never leave me. We’ve seen it all.”
