Chelsea fans have taken to social media to display their anger after their side were denied a penalty against Manchester City.

After some big misses by striker Nicolas Jackson, the score remained 0-0 going into the second-half.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men were awarded a free-kick which Cole Palmer took before it struck the arm of Jack Grealish, who was stood in a three-man wall.

A VAR review followed and after a short delay referee Michael Oliver awarded City a goal-kick, instead of a penalty or a corner.

And Chelsea fans took to X to vent their frustrations, with some claiming it was an ‘insane’ decision to not award a penalty.
