Casemiro was hooked at half-time as Erik ten Hag introduced Toby Collyer, who entered the fray to make his first appearance in the Premier League.

But Ten Hag is convinced the 32-year-old will bounce back from his disastrous showing against Liverpool.

“You know the game. He knows the game. He will go on, we will go on. He’s a great player. We will continue this season to improve the team and the players,” he explained.
