Former Gunners winger Willian, Andreas Pereira and Rodrigo Muniz were also filmed flying kites at the training ground by striker Raul Jimenez.

The Mexican, whose team has won twice in eight, then posted it on his Instagram story – and it was soon spotted.

And concerned fans quickly replied to the clip understandably worried as one fumed: “We’re praying to the lord they get a result out of city and they’re in training flying kites??? Kmt.”

“It’s over for us,” predicted another, with the same sentiment being echoed by a third who wrote: “Arsenal fans, it’s over.”

A fellow supporter claimed: “Fulham on the beach already!”

A fifth said: “Our hopes are pinned on these guys.”

While a sixth posted: “This is the team we need to beat or draw to city man we’re so cooked.”

As the footage circulated even further across social media, the hilarious comments kept flooding in, and even fans of other clubs shared their sympathy.

“Gotta feel sorry for Arsenal. Not only City gonna win but goal difference will be clawed back,” added another.

While one more joked: “I don’t think there’s a bigger sign of a team being on the beach when our players are flying kites in training.”

City are back in action in the capital on Tuesday after the trip to Fulham.

This time it will be Arsenal’s bitter North London neighbours Tottenham that they will be praying for a favour from.

That then sets up both teams for what promises to be a thrilling final day of the season.

City will host West Ham on the last day while Arsenal will be looking to put Everton to the sword on home turf.
