First team and lineup updates ahead of Manchester United’s Champions League game against Copenhagen.

Sergio Reguilon and Casemiro took part in Manchester United’s training ahead of Tuesday’s game against FC Copenhagen.

Reguilon last played against Burnley on September 23 and was unavailable due to a hamstring injury, but returned to training last week and has a chance of playing in the Champions League against Copenhagen.

Ten Hag confirmed in the pre-match press conference that a decision will be made on Monday afternoon on whether Reguilon will be available and whether he will train with the main group.

Casemiro is suspended for a red card against Galatasaray, but his presence in the team is an advantage after he sustained an injury while representing Brazil during the international break.

The midfielder missed the game against Sheffield United due to the blow and is expected to be available for the Manchester derby this weekend.

Jonny Evans also trained for the game in Copenhagen, although he looked annoyed against Sheffield United. The centre-back has started three games this season but is expected to come on as a substitute on Tuesday evening.

Luke Shaw, Lisandro Martinez and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are not yet available and did not attend the session, although Tyrell Malacia trained independently and did light work.

The MEN player, who was announced last week, was missing due to a knee injury he sustained last season which required surgery. The training brought together the young people of the academy: Kobbie Mainoo, Dan Gore and Omari Forson. Mainoo has struggled with injuries since picking up an injury in the pre-season game against Real Madrid but is now ready to return to action.

Mainoo is highly regarded at the club and his progress was rewarded with a new long-term contract in February.

United training squad for Copenhagen:

Goalkeepers: Onana, Heaton, Bayindir, Vitek.

Defenders: Dalot, Varane, Lindelof, Maguire, Evans, Reguilon.

Midfielders: McTominay, Van de Beek, Hannibal, Mainoo, Eriksen, Gore, Mount, Amrabat, Fernandes, Casemiro.

Attackers: Rashford, Martial, Hojlund, Antony, Garnacho, Forson.
