Man United take on Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday and our editors have shared their favorite team.

Manchester United had to come from behind to beat Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday night.

United were beaten 4-3 by Bayern Munich in the Champions League in midweek and although only one goal made the difference at the final whistle, the scoreline was handsome and the home team deserved winners.

Erik ten Hag faces the toughest period of his tenure at Old Trafford and it is vital United return to victory over Burnley at Turf Moor after suffering four defeats in six match this season.

In team news, Luke Shaw, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Tyrell Malacia remain sidelined, but United will assess Raphael Varane, Mason Mount, Sofyan Amrabat and Harry Maguire in the final training session before the match.

Our writers have their opinions on how United should line up against Burnley…

As possibly risky as it is to recall three players from injury, Ten Hag needs players he relies on. Varane has to come in for the plodding Victor Lindelof and Sofyan Amrabat would help plug the gaps in midfield.

Mason Mount – not an out-and-out central midfielder – has to be relocated to the right-hand side in the absence of an appealing option for Ten Hag. With those three back, United would be one short of their ideal XI with the current squad.

There will be a late call made on a number of players’ fitness before this game. Varane could possibly return and if he passes the test, he should start in central defence alongside Dalot, Martinez and Reguilon.

The midfield has lacked control this season and I’d give Amrabat his debut. Casemiro needs to start performing to the level he did last season otherwise there will soon be a case to be made to drop him to the bench.

Mount is versatile and he should start on the right flank with Hojlund and Rashford making up the other attacking positions. Burnley have a dreadful defensive record and United should really be scoring a few goals in this game.
