It was a really bad storm for Erik ten Hag at the start of the season.

From injuries, questionable referee decisions, player declines and unconvincing performances, Manchester United’s troubled start to life has fans worried.

They were further aggravated after it was revealed that another recently injured United player had arrived with an injury.

The Athletic reports that Sofyan Amrabat discovered a minor back injury during a medical examination.

The Moroccan player has suffered from this problem since his fairytale journey at the World Cup in Qatar, but he overcame the painful barrier thanks to injections.

United ultimately ruled that the back injury wasn’t serious enough to jeopardize the deal entirely and eventually signed his arrival.

This is the second time a United player has come to the field with an injury. Rasmus Hojlund also hails from Atalanta with a back problem and recently made his debut against Arsenal, almost a month after signing for the club.

As for Amrabat, the exact severity of the back injury remains to be seen.

England have been called up for Morocco’s matches against Liberia and Burkina Faso during the upcoming international break.

United supporters will be watching these matches with an eagle eye, eager to see what role Amrabat will play, if any.

Even the fact that he is called up means that the national team is quite satisfied with his physical condition.

It could even benefit United if Amrabat returns to some fitness as the midfielder has yet to play or train at the high level to force him out of Fiorentina.
