Five things to expect before the transfer window closes at 11pm tomorrow - timelineoffuture

The transfer window that defined so many hours of our lives this summer is coming to an end. But what can Manchester United fans expect? Manchester United have had a good summer window so far, scoring three of Erik ten Hag’s most important goals.

Andre Onana was undoubtedly the main target the Dutchman had been waiting for following David de Gea’s departure.

Mason Mount is another player Ten Hag has signed this summer and he is no doubt delighted to sign him.

Finally Rasmus Hojlund, whose boss we’ll be happy for sure, even if he’s second choice and Harry Kane is unreachable.

But with 36 hours remaining in the window, what can we expect?

Altay Bayindir will sign

One of the worst kept secrets has been the arrival of Altay Bayindir from Fenerbahce.

It seems to have been nailed on for weeks now, with reports even suggesting he has been in England since the weekend.

He will likely arrive as the clubs second choice goalkeeper, but could have a huge job come January if Onana is in the Cameroon Afcon side.

Donny van de Beek on his way out?

As the window draws to a close, it seems more and more likely Donny van de Beek will be leaving United.

Omitted from all three squads this season, he doesn’t seem to have a chance at the club.

Galatasaray are believed to be the front runners to bring the Dutch midfielder to Turkey.

Amrabat to finally get his move?

After weeks of silence on the Sofyan Amrabat transfer saga, which has involved the Moroccan ‘waiting’ for a bid, it finally is picking up steam.

Multiple reliable reports have suggested that United are now discussing a deal for Amrabat, which is likely to end up being a loan with Fiorentina insisting on an obligation to buy being included.

Slightly embarrassing that we have waiting until this stage to try and secure the deal, but as long as it gets done, we don’t mind.

Cucurella also to arrive?

Following the emergence of news that Luke Shaw had picked up an injury last week, United turned attention toward a left-back.

With various names mentioned which left United fans bemused, it seems a decent option will be arriving.

Nizaar Kinsella has insisted the deal ‘should’ happen with a few small details remaining.

Youth outgoings

United are known over recent years to love being active late in the window.

This could be the case again, with several youngsters still potentially leaving on loan.

Alvaro Fernandez, Hannibal Mejbri, Dan Gore and Charlie McNeill all could find themselves loaned out before the deadline.

But with little time left any more would be a shock and would need to move fast.
