On Sunday, Manchester City ended their Asia trip with a third friendly against Atlético Madrid. The game against Diego Simeone’s men follows an away trip to Japan where Manchester City recorded two wins out of two in friendlies against Yokohama F Marinos and Bayern Munich.

The last of the two games was against Thomas Tuchel’s team at the Japan National Stadium, the game that drew the most spectators at an arena soccer game.

James McAtee put Manchester City ahead in the first half but, despite chances for both sides, the equalizer had to wait until the final 10 minutes when Bayern’s Mathys Tel scored from close range. There was still time for the Premier League champions’ final winner as Aymeric Laporte joined Phil Foden in City’s second goal in a 2-1 win.
