Harry Maguire, who is valued at £50million by Manchester United, will not be offered by the club this summer, according to the Manchester Evening News.

The Red Devils are not ‘actively’ considering parting ways with the England international in the current transfer market. With a defender sent off, the Old Trafford side will find themselves needing to step up their defence.

As it stands, United are tentatively planning to sell the centre-back in early 2023. But no team can match the amount the Red Devils are asking for a 30-year-old.

Maguire joined Old Trafford from Leicester City in the summer of 2019. The defender’s current contract runs for two more years. But the England international is not the same player he was a few years ago.

United’s centre-back form has declined significantly over time. The 30-year-old then lost his starting spot last season.

Eric ten Haag favored Lisandro Martinez and Rafael Varane in defense. His two World Cup winners have created an impressive partnership for us.

Victor Lindelof has also secured a spot in the manager’s plans for the second half of the season. For the former Ajax boss, the Swedish international appears to be the first choice to replace the centre-back.

Luke Shaw also played occasionally as a center defender last season, although McGre was available. So things don’t look rosy for the former Leicester star at United.

But it will be interesting to see what expectations the defender has for his future. The England international remains a regular at Gareth Southgate. But no one can predict how long this will last. Is the 30-year-old in the final stages of a move to Old Trafford? only time will tell.
