In addition, the design pays homage to the county of Lancashire and includes a geometric pattern of Lancaster’s red rose. The kit is also inspired by the bridge over the River Irwell that connects Manchester and Salford.

Marcus Rashford, Luke Shaw, Bruno Fernandes, Jadon Sancho, Casemiro and Lisandro Martinez were the men chosen on the club’s website to design the kit.

Apparently, however, Harry Maguire did not appear and there has been speculation that the club’s captain could leave Old Trafford this summer.
