Arsenal have produced some of the best football witnessed in the Premier League with some spellbinding stuff on offer from the Gunners’ greatest teams.
We’ve delved through the Arsenal archives in an attempt to rank the North London side’s greatest ever goals of the Premier League era, an almost impossible task given the quality to choose from.
Here are our five favourite Arsenal goals from the Premier League era.
5. Olivier Giroud vs Crystal Palace (2017)
Olivier Giroud holds the distinction of being the only Arsenal player to have won the Puskas Award, handed to the footballer deemed to have scored the most aesthetically pleasing goal of the calendar year.
Giroud wrapped up the award on the very first day of 2017 with this super strike against Crystal Palace on January 1. The Frenchman finished off an Arsenal counter against Crystal Palace with an outrageous effort, as he contorted to steer home a Scorpion Kick and open the scoring.
A lot of you tweeted us to say this is the best goal you've seen live…

4. Thierry Henry vs Manchester United (2000)
Arsenal and Manchester United was the defining rivalry of the Premier League era with contests often settled by moments of individual brilliance.
Thierry Henry’s fabulous flick and finish earned Arsenal a 1-0 win in October 2000, as the Frenchman left compatriot Fabien Barthez helpless in the opposition goal.
It was Henry at his audacious best, a sublime set, swivel, and strike to send Highbury wild.
Flick, BANG 💥

3. Robin van Persie vs Charlton (2006)
Is it a bird?
Is it a plane?
No, it’s Robin van Persie flying through the air to connect with Emmanuel Eboue’s cross.
What a goal!

2. Jack Wilshere vs Norwich (2013)
Did anything encapsulate the best of post-Invincibles Arsenal quite like this goal?
Arsene Wenger’s side were no longer the title-winning titan of the early noughties, a side of attractive aesthetic but with a soft underbelly that prevented silverware success.
This was a side of silk if not quite steel, but when it came together it was a tantalising watch. This one-touch move might just be the best team goal the Premier League has ever seen.

1. Dennis Bergkamp vs Newcastle (2002)
Listen, there are some who suggest this goal was a fluke.
You know what we call that bunch here at TFF? Morons, that’s what.
Dennis Bergkamp was capable of utter brilliance and this pirouette against Newcastle was the Dutchman at his delightful best. The intelligence to spin with the momentum of his body rather than the ball bamboozled Newcastle’s Nikos Dabizas, with Bergkamp collecting the ball on the other side and slotting home.
A genius at work.
Dennis Bergkamp is the GOAT. 🐐
