Fans have have slammed Gary Neville after he suggested Manchester United should have been awarded a penalty during their clash with Arsenal.
Mikel Arteta’s men had taken the lead inside 20 minutes thanks to Leandro Trossard’s close-range strike.
As United sought an equaliser, Amad Diallo went down inside the box from Thomas Partey’s outstretched leg after 36 minutes.
The referee waved play on and the VAR cleared the incident.
Neville seemed to suggest that Partey caught Diallo, saying: ‘The only question is that Partey is on the floor and just sticks his right leg out.
